ON TO THE MEME
Are you reading a book right now? How far are you into it and what do you think so far? If you're not, what was the last book you read and how did you feel about it?
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets... but its like the 3rd time I read it
Favourite one... uhmmm that's complicated... one of them would be The End of Eternity by Isaac Asimov, time travel and its consequences yay!!
Favorite genre: Fantasy
Fiction... I think the only non-fiction books I read are textbooks
uhmmm... I'll go with JRR Tolkien,
Terrible... uhmmm no... there are some that may not like me, but hey if you want to read them I won't stop you
Yes, I do, you can find things you didn't the first time
Define child please
I pick books as long as they can attract my attention, from any section, and no, I do not mind, I'm 22
I tend to buy them... yet I have borrowed many books as well
Yup... starting with The lord of the rings... I had no idea of its existence before the movie (shame on me). Harry Potter (I knew it existed because of my cousin but started reading them after the movie)... anyway, I prefer the books
Dan Brown's DaVinci Code, and Angels and Demons, like the movies but prefer the books
Uhmmm I read The Chronicles of Narnia before seeing the movies... but unfortunately not before reading the Lord of the Rings... and I was like... "what? is that all??" so... I think this is the only case where I prefer the movie...
Uhmmm... fan fiction, manga, science articles...
uhmmm Lasher and Taltos by Anne Rice... I've read the Witching Hour and want to read the next parts... but haven't find them
Maybe I'm not satisfied with every book, but I'm not sure I'd change them...
- cry: uhmm The Return of the King, gollum's last stand, last time I read it
- laugh: fragments from The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor...
- think, in a deeper sense than the obvious: do Physics Volume 1 and 2 by Resnick Halliday and Krane count?? no??
Ok... then I'll say The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
- feel pure happiness: good question... I can't recall one in particular...
- become so addicted you put off everything in order to finish it: Harry Potter, The Looking Glass Wars, Interview with the Vampire...
- die of boredom: Etica para Amador by Fernando Savater... it was the only time I hated my Ethics teacher in high school
- learn something new: All of them, even if it was only a word I didn't new
- squirm with squickiness: non so far... I think
- squirm with glee: Alexandros by Valerio Massimo Manfredi, but maybe it was because I was reading a story about my hero
- very embarrassed to be reading it: I can't remember one
- angry: uhmmm no... I can't remember one either
